The number of New Home listings has dropped 31% from January -June 2009 as compared with the 2nd Quarter statistics in 2008.
Of the 402 New Home Listings in Wake Forest NC 147 of them were in Heritage Wake Forest. Heritage Wake Forest had the highest number of showings for the 2nd Quarter 2009 of ANY subdivision in Wake County NC. Coincidentally, Heritage Wake Forest also had the highest number of price adjustments for 2nd Quarter 2009 as well as the most SOLD homes for 2nd Quarter 2009.
While the listings may have dropped, Wake Forest NC has the second highest absorption** rate for New Homes trailing just behind the Knightdale / Wendell / Zebulon area in Wake County NC. The following graph depicts the absorption rate for the various areas of Wake County NC.
