What an exciting week this has been in Wake Forest NC! We had snow, it FINALLY melted and now we wake up to another 3 inches of the white fluffy stuff from over night! At least THIS snow is a pretty one!
Other than the weather the Town of Wake Forest NC was jammed packed with events all week that showcased all there is to offer and their “Fall in Love With Downtown” campaign was (and still is going on today) a huge success! American Legion Post 187 will hold a pancake and sausage breakfast on the second Sunday of each month at the Legion Hall, across from the Wake Forest Post Office. All-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, orange juice and choice of hot beverage for only $5 per person/$20 max per family. Proceeds support community and veterans projects. “A Heart for Missions” Valentine’s Benefit Concert

The Virginia Tull Music and Arts Series of Wake Forest Baptist Church presents “A Heart for Missions” Valentine’s Benefit Concert featuring sacred jazz music and originals performed by Bradley Sowash, acclaimed pianist, composer, author, and educator. Bradley will be joined by the Wake Forest Baptist Church Choir and guest soloist Brandi Hancock. Part of the proceeds from the concert will benefit mission work in Uganda.
