6th Annual Wake Forest Alex’s Lemonade Stand Flapjack Fundraiser

Join us for a pancake breakfast fundraiser at Applebee’s. All money raised will go to the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation to benefit children with cancer. Wake Forest Library’s 14th Birthday Party

This party is presented by the Friends of the Wake Forest Library in celebration of the library’s 14th year at its current location. Everyone is invited to the celebration to enjoy face painting, a magic show, balloon twisting, a visit from Friends of the Library mascot “Bookman” and delicious birthday cake. From 10 am to 11 am and Noon to 1 pm, Ebony Child Face Painting Services will paint adorable faces for children and “children at heart”. Ebony will create cute kittens, colorful tigers, adorable puppies, beautiful butterflies, super-hero masks, fabulous flowers, smiling dinosaurs and more. At 11 am, “Fish the Magish” (Mike Fisher), a full time magician specializing in comedy magic, will present a program which includes a mix of storytelling, lively audience participation and magical surprises for everyone. Whether you are 3 or 93, you’ll enjoy the magic of “Fish the Magish”! After the magic show, Fish will demonstrate his balloon twisting skills.
